For stop 8 of the Pulsar Wildlife Tour 2026, we’re heading to Brockholes Nature Reserve on the outskirts of Preston, Lancashire.

Join us at this impressive floating visitor village for an evening of talks, Q&As, viewing sessions, and nature walks.

Get hands-on with all the latest Pulsar Wildlife devices, designed to enhance your detection capabilities during wildlife observation, bird watching, and ecological surveys.

We’ll discuss how these devices work, what kind of kit is available — from thermal to digital to multispectral — and then take any questions. We’ll then head out for a thermal guided nature walk around the reserve, so you can see for yourself how thermal can help you streamline your observation capabilities.

This event is FREE but ticketed and limited to 130 spaces. Reserve you space here.

Although we ask for a £5 deposit, this event is completely free to attend.

To help us plan effectively, reduce no-shows and ensure places don’t go to waste, we ask for a £5 refundable deposit (inclusive of Eventbrite’s standard booking fees).

We understand plans can change, so we’ve kept our refund policy simple and fair:

• If you attend: You’ll receive a full refund of your £5 deposit, including all booking fees. The event costs you nothing!
• If you cancel at least 7 days before: You’ll receive a full refund of your £5 deposit, including booking fees.
• If you cancel within 7 days of the event: You’ll receive your £5 deposit back, minus Eventbrite’s booking fees.
• If you don’t attend without cancelling: Your £5 deposit will not be refundable.

Why do we ask for a deposit?

We want everyone who books a place to have the opportunity to attend. A small refundable deposit helps us minimise empty spaces and make the most of our events.

We know unexpected things happen! If circumstances beyond your control prevent you from attending, please get in touch. We’re always happy to review exceptional situations fairly.

If we cancel the event, you’ll receive a full refund, including booking fees. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Eventbrite Booking Fees

Our £5 refundable booking deposit includes Eventbrite’s booking fees.

Eventbrite’s standard UK booking fee is 6.95% + £0.59 per ticket (approximately £0.94 on a £5 ticket).
