Lakes Deer Fest 2026

October 10| 9:30 am - 5:30 pm

Pulsar Wildlife is heading to the first Lakes Deer Fest at Rheged, a new autumn festival celebrating the Red and Roe deer that have shaped the landscapes of Cumbria for centuries.

Taking place against the backdrop of the Lake District, the event brings together wildlife, local food, photography, film, art and storytelling for a day dedicated to celebrating Cumbria’s deer, landscapes and natural heritage.

We’ll be joining a fantastic range of exhibitors and activities throughout the day, bringing along a selection of thermal imaging and multispectral devices for visitors to get hands-on with.

Whether you’re already familiar with thermal imaging or experiencing it for the first time, it’s a great opportunity to see the technology in action, try out the latest equipment, and chat with the Pulsar Wildlife team.

Alongside the exhibitors, visitors can enjoy live cookery, wild venison, talks, short films, photography, creative workshops, and performances inspired by the fells. There will also be opportunities to meet the people working to restore habitats, create woodlands and care for Cumbria’s landscapes and wildlife.

Whether you’re passionate about wildlife and conservation, interested in the latest wildlife observation technology, or simply looking for a memorable Autumn day out, come and find Pulsar Wildlife at Lakes Deer Fest and discover what thermal and multispectral imaging can reveal.
