Each year, across three days, the Global Birdfair brings together bird watchers and nature lovers from around the world for what some refer to as “the Glastonbury of the birding world”. The festival is run by likeminded volunteers, with proceeds from this year’s show going toward the Global Birdfair 2025 Conservation Project: Safeguarding Ocean Species. Click here to find out more.
We are returning for the third year running as thermal sponsors of the festival and this time we’re bringing some friends with us! We’ll be hosting a wide range of events, including Q&A panels, presentations, and nature walks. Check out our schedule below.

14 of the UK’s 18 bat species live in trees, with some species spending all-year in trees. But tree-roosting bats are elusive; they are small, nocturnal and move frequently. As a result, they often go undetected, but not with the use of thermal imaging. Jim Mullholland joins Pulsar to discuss how thermal imaging has changed the way in which he works.
